Aggregate Limit
A policy usually has a per-occurrence limit (the most for any single claim) and an aggregate limit (the most for all claims combined during the policy term).
A high per-occurrence limit means little if the aggregate has already been exhausted by earlier claims. Requirements often specify both, and a thorough COI check confirms both.
