Primary and Non-Contributory
'Primary and non-contributory' means the vendor's insurance responds first to a covered claim, and your policy is not called on to contribute alongside it.
Without it, insurers can argue over who pays what, potentially pulling your policy into a claim caused by a vendor. It's commonly required together with additional-insured and waiver-of-subrogation endorsements.
